HOKCRC is an Empowerment Zone project developed through the collaborative efforts of Pellissippi State, the City of Knoxville, Partnership for Neighborhood Improvement, and Workforce Connections. Funding for the center is provided by Pellissippi State, the City of Knoxville and the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.
We are part of the Tennessee Career Center system as a satellite office of the Tennessee Career Center at 1610 University Avenue. Onsite partners include Tennessee Dept. of Labor (Job Service), Workforce Connections (WIA Training Services), PSTCC-Adult Education Services (Basic Skills, GED, and ESL), Dept. of Human Services (UT Network Training program), and UT TRiO (Educational Services).
